How old do I feel?
I went out to play golf yesterday for the first time since well ... my last post about golf.
Anyway, I'm not exactly sure what happened yesterday but the "physical strain of golf" is killing me today. I mean seriously, old men play like 4 rounds of golf a day and I am sore and tired 24 hours later after a single round of golf. And it's not like I had the round of my life either, or saved children from a burning orphanage mid-round or anything like that. It was just a normal round combined with me quickly becoming ancient. On the bright side I did manage to keep it under 100, barely (97) ... I'll defend myself and say it was a pretty tough course, as one might expect from the Nicklaus design group but it was also pretty neat too. It was like it had a smile while it ate my lunch all day. The course was probably 200 yards up from the Ohio river in North Bend Ohio. It had a lot of change in elevation holes which just seemed a little ill-tempered. Two of the holes were close enough that I'm pretty sure I could have put a ball into the river pretty easily. The only thing that stopped me was the two lanes of traffic that I would have hit if I had not hit the ball solid, I mean I guess my insurance could have covered anything ... but I decided it ultimately wasn't worth the risk.
I really wish I would have brought one of the 4 camera we have running around our house, so I could show the both of you some of the views. But alas, I didn't have one with me, so you will just have to be entertained by my fast approaching membership to AARP instead of pretty pictures of the river.

You picked up a 4th camera?
At the time it was meant as hyperbole, but I guess thinking about it it's true. XTi, 2 canon point and shoots and a video camera.
