The passion and the fury of blogger

So I've decided that even though a whooping four people read my blog, I want it too look snazzier.  The current layout as you can see is a little "blah" and I just feel like I should be able to do better.  My pet project all week has been tinkering with blogger to see what all it would take to get it to look how I want.  And it's not going well. 

I have managed to make a rudimentary header that I kind of don't hate.  So hopefully that will be making a debut at some point in the near future.  

I just thought I would update you all. (would y'all been appropriate there? I can never tell)
