Why does MTV make everything suck?

Has anyone seen this F'n MTV business? I had seen commercials but nothing else.  The commercials said it was supposed be finally playing music videos on MTV. So I saw it this morning and that is not what it is, it's people talking over videos in the background.  What's the point? How am I supposed to enjoy Snoop Dogg's first country video if Everlast is talking over the top telling everyone how "dope" it is? 

Really looking back on it I should have seen this coming, Pete Wentz, Heidi and Spencer are the people MTV have put in the commercials.
