Holy Crap am I out of shape
So anyone who ever tells you softball is a workout is lying to you.
I have played at least 4 games of softball a week for the last two months (which let me tell you, Cora has been thrilled about), and yet this morning when I rode a bike specifically made for the road to work ... I seriously almost died. I actually had to get off the bike and walk for two blocks at one point. I only live like 5 miles from work too, which makes me feel extra sad.
On the bright side, when I got to work it only took me like a half an hour to stop sweating, thats good right?? Of course, this was after I took off my button down shirt and rolled my jeans up like it had just flooded or something. I'm really glad no one of authority decided to stop down for a chat, that would have been awkward.
Boss: Ummmmmmmmmm
AI: I rode my bike to work today, I swear
Boss: Ummmmmmmmmm
I can't find it on the youtube, but I looked a lot like Jim Halbert from the Office when he decided to try biking to work, except WAY more handsome. I was all sweaty and gross in work appropriate clothing, it was quite special. Although I did have this amazingly handsome thing where my hair since it was sweaty and I had been pedaling into the wind decided to just stay up. It was awesome.
*Note: After attempting to stand up for the first time I almost fell down.
