I just think this is cool

Apparently in Venice (Italy .. not beach or anything) the city floods all the time. Which I guess makes sense considering its flanked on all sides by canals, but I just had never thought about it. But then I saw these pictures (thank you Google Reader) and I just thought it was pretty cool.



*Although with my wake boarding "skill" I would probably be planted against one of those columns in the background.
