14

So I've meant to talk about this for a couple days now, but I think I'm finally going to do it! I'm going to talk about that crazy lady who had octuplets.

Cora and I watched her interview on NBC the other night, and I'm not going to lie I thought she was going to be more outwardly nuts. I was hoping to watch an absolute car wreck. Really, I wanted something to outwardly reflected this woman's decision to bring another child into that home. And I'm not hating on big families or "non-traditional" arrangements, but that woman brought it to a whole other level. From the interview she seemed like she and reality communicated on a some what frequent bases, I'm pretty sure they are however not in fact "in touch". I think this is what troubles me the most about this woman, is that she was able to acknowledge what peoples concerns were, but then disregard the merit in it. Like how are you going to be able to pay for these children? "I am going to get a job once I get out of school for counseling" ... except she is going to be 35 with no real experience and a counselor and kids are expensive. There was a lot of that, concerns raised with no real answers which did nothing to make me think she was any less crazy.

I also think the fact that she hired a publicist is shady. Now it just looks like she's trying to profit off those kids, and that's not cool. Those poor little kids have enough to deal with without mommy going off to media appearances.
