St. Patricks Day

Today is St. Patricks day! woo! wait ... no, actually I'm not really excited. I don't know why but I've never really gotten into this St. Patricks day business. I really sometimes feel guilty about it, I mean I'm Irish, I have red hair and I'm fun at parties: really St. Patty's day should be in my wheel house. I just can never get myself excited about it enough to brave the "irish" who drink all day. Plus really I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be celebrating. Isn't it supposed to be celebrating St. Patrick chasing the snakes out of Ireland? I mean if that's true, good on him but where was he during their peace process? What has he done for me lately? I vanquished all of my code of bugs day, shouldn't it be my day? (Side note: I feel really geeky that I just wrote that, I don't know if my fragile readership is ready for programming jokes yet).

But anyway, I really didn't have an eventful weekend so I don't have anything good to write about. We're kind of in the middle of a season change here in Ohio ... I can feel spring coming on but it's not here yet. It's kind of excruciating, but I will keep everyone posted.
