Ikea

My wife told me last night I never blog about anything fun. Really I'm not sure what she is talking about, I mean seriously what is not fun about politics, gas prices and voting??? What more does she want from me??

In an effort to appease her, I am going to write about the happiest thing in the world: Furniture making Swedes!



So I will go on the record as saying I love Ikea. I know that may not be a popular statement amongst dudes, but I can't help it. Really it's a tie between there stuff is cheap and good and I think they have a smart business model. They are kind of like the Google of furniture makers for me. But anyway, they opened one up a scant 30 miles away from us and we thought what better to do on a Wednesday night then check it out. They took a lot of our money and probably will take a lot more. I am pretty sure with in the next couple days we will purchase a table, some chairs and some curtains from them ... and then I will check our bank statement and cry.
