Hall of fame

So I've always been fascinated with athletes that have funny names. I used to think when I had kid's I wanted to name them something funny in hopes it would help them get a college scholar ship. But then when Cora actually did get pregnant the thought having to answer the endless questions of "is D'Androo a family name?" or "is that german??" put an end to that dream pretty quickly.

I am still fascinated at how this happens, do parents name their kids that to toughen them up? Kind of like a boy named Sue? or do they just get noticed more because people writing the stats are like "really???" and then tell their friends. I just can't tell why it happens. I found that the names that fascinate me the most are generally in two categories. The first is the ones that are just obviously made up, like D'Brickashaw. There is no way that any spell checker in the world is going to let that name go, ever. And the second category is normal names spelled all janky. That is what prompted this. I read an article about an Ohio State football recruit named Tai-lor ... let that sink in a moment. What was the decision process on that? I like Tyler(or is it Taylor), but I can't give into the man like that.

It's just awesome.
