The NBA

I am a basketball guy. It's my sport, for whatever reason I just love playing it. It's really kind of embarrassing when people at work at work catch me practicing a lay up in the hall way ... I wish I was lying. But anyway as much as I like it I have drifted away from watching most basketball leagues. College has so many choices with too many kids leaving after a year to really get attached to any one. But the NBA has started to peak my interest again. I like LeBron and I think they finally put some quality guys around him and it makes LeAndrew happy. Anyway tonight after returning from my f-ing sweet birthday celebration I turned on the Heat vs. Lakers game and with in the first five minutes I remembered why I stopped watching. Kobe Bryant got a foul called on him everytime someone thought about breathing on him. It's B.S. I want to watch games that remind me of the games I play in, you know people getting hacked all over the place. Guys talking crap at whenever possible ... you know it's just how it's supposed to be. It's not cool when some body gets the benefit of the doubt on everything, it makes me think he's a wuss. Kobe beat the guy every time and really there was no reason to call the fouls, it sends the wrong message too. Why even bother to play defense?
